Former Students Of Dr. Chukwudi Michael Okoye, The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Lecturer Assaulted By A Female Student have shared their experiences with the man.
Platforms Africa recalls that the VIDEO where Okoye was been assaulted by the student has gone viral. He was seen to have earlier tapped, said ‘excuse me,’ and walked pass the student who was recording a video.

Though the university has issued a statement promising to get to the root of the matter, the incident has broken the Internet with many people condemning the action of the student while other stood on the side of the student.
Meanwhile, former students of Dr. OKOYE have come out to narrate their personal experiences with the lecturer.
Ugochukwu Duoh wrote, “It is truly disheartening to see the level of disrespect directed at Dr. Chukwudi, a man who has been more than just a teacher—he has been a father, a mentor, and a guiding light to many of us in the Department of Theatre Arts and Film Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

“To witness such an unfortunate incident is painful, especially knowing how much he has dedicated to shaping and uplifting students. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should never be condoned.
“Sir, I sincerely apologize on behalf of those of us who still hold respect and gratitude for all you have done. You deserve nothing but honour for the sacrifices you have made in molding generations of students. Your legacy stands strong, and we will always stand by you”
Franklin Okechukwu Onwubiko wrote; “Dr. Chukwudi Okoye, is one of the calmest, reserved, brilliant yet jovial lecturers in UNIZIK (Theatre Arts department).
“This attitude of the girl is so unwarranted and very repulsive.
“She may likely start looking for another institution and when she eventually finds out the lecturer’s wife is a Senior magistrate of repute, she would have to invite her kindred to save herself from prison.
“Fortunately, Dr. Okoye being a Man of God might just forgive and let go…but eh…”
